Important Notes
  • Children must have their first and last names and the date on each page of their homework notebook (parents please assist with the date, but allow the children to write their name).
  • All homework is due the following day and should be done in the homework notebook. Please sign all homework.
  • Students must write their own homework and draw their own pictures. This will help improve the student’s motor skills as well as getting them use to writing on their own. Parents will begin to see their child’s writing and drawing improve overtime if they are allowed to practice these skills on their own.
  • Reading logs will come home every Monday and be collected the next Monday.
  • Students will have independent reading time in class everyday.
  • Students must wear complete school uniforms: White shirt, tan pants or dress/skirt, burgundy stocking and tie with black shoes. On gym days, students must wear the proper clothing as well.
  • Please send a change of clothing for your child in the event he/she has an accident.
